Eliza Tortora-Cailey is an artist born in 1999 in Salford (Greater Manchester, UK). They graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2022 with a BSc in Chemistry.

Since June 2022 Eliza has practiced handpoke tattooing under the monikers handpo.king and decidetomoveforward, now elizatorta. This work has taken them throughout Europe (Lisbon, Portugal - Athens, Greece - Amsterdam, Netherlands), across the UK (Nottingham - Manchester - London - Liverpool), and to the USA (Portland, OR).

In 2024, Eliza co-founded Studio Star with friends/fellow tattooers Sage Bath (@velvtats) and Spencer Grimshaw (@splgtattoo) in central Manchester. This studio is an independent space run by queer, disabled artists. It is home to 10 tattooers as of May 2026.
